The urban community of Bourges Plus manages Bourges airport.

The aims of the public service contract signed with Edeis are as follows:

To strengthen commercial and promotional activities in order to reverse the downward trend of decreasing use of the airport, particularly concerning commercial activities, with a view to promoting the area’s accessibility in response to the needs of local business in the economic area;
To support the development of business activities by offering services

To maintain the capacity to handle flights, sanitary and waste issues and public services

To maintain the current recreational aviation activities in place and to develop “cross-country”

flights to encourage touristic clientele;

To encourage the development of projects led by airport users and personnel and generally promote the public space under contract
